Meet the Doctor

Brett Martin, DDS, MS 

Dr. Martin was born and raised in Folsom, California, and is proud to serve families in the community he calls home. He graduated from Casa Roble High School and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from UC Davis, with an emphasis in molecular and cellular biology. He went on to complete his dental education at UCLA, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

During his time at UCLA, Dr. Martin was a founding member of the Student Professional and Ethics Association (SPEA), a national organization dedicated to promoting the highest ethical standards in dentistry. In recognition of his commitment to professionalism and patient advocacy, he was honored with the American College of Dentists Ethics and Professionalism Award—an achievement that continues to guide his approach to patient care today.

Dr. Martin discovered his passion for pediatric dentistry while volunteering at an underserved dental clinic and with the Give Kids a Smile organization. He completed his pediatric specialty training at UCSF, where he also earned a Master of Science degree in Oral and Craniofacial Biology.  Dr. Martin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (board certified).

As a father, Dr. Martin understands how important it is for children to feel safe, comfortable, and confident at the dentist. He is dedicated to creating positive, stress-free dental experiences that help children build healthy habits and happy smiles for life.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Martin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hiking, and golfing. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Martin and his wife, Tracy, have two young sons.
